Bromley Adult Education College (BAEC) is committed to providing high-quality education and is seeking a highly talented Head of Learner Support Services to take forward our key priorities in providing excellent education and training to adult learners. BAEC was graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted in January 2019 and the college is on a strong journey to excellence.

About the Head of Learner Support Services role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with significant experience at a senior level to lead and manage the learner support services and act as the designated safeguarding lead for the adult education service. The post holder will ensure that learner support services and safeguarding procedures are effective. An important element of the role is also to oversee all aspects of learner and staff voice, managing impact of such feedback and implementing targeted improvements for an outstanding learner experience and excellent staff satisfaction rates.

The post holder will have strong ability to be discreet when dealing with confidential issues, good understanding of the current post 16 funding and its impact on adult learning, and excellent experience of working with a wide range of individuals and groups.

The post holder will work onsite across the two BAEC sites - Kentwood centre, Kingsdale Road, Penge, SE20 7PR and Poverest centre, Poverest Road, Orpington, BR5 2DQ.
