Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised School Business Manager. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to combine strategic influence with operational responsibility at a strong school. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of school life. The School Business Manager plays a key leadership role within the school, working closely with the Headteacher to ensure the effective planning, management and delivery of all business and operational aspects of the school. They strategically plan and manage the school’s budget, oversee Finance, HR, Health and Safety, Buildings and Facilities and other administrative systems.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly competent finance professional with strong finance and accounting skills. We are seeking a qualified finance professional with AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent and with experience in accounting and budget management. You will have the ability to analyse and communicate complex information clearly. You will be calm under pressure with problem-solving skills and be an excellent communicator with interpersonal skills and will demonstrate the ability to operate strategically and efficiently. You will have experience in finance and operational management, ideally in a school setting.
