Receptionist
Hours: Temporary, Part-time 1 year appointment (16 hours per week term-time only, 41 weeks per year)
Location: Griffins, Sensory Support Services, Lovibonds Avenue, Orpington, Kent, BR6 8ER
Salary Scale: BR5 £24,608 - £26,100 Pro rata (£9,906.77 - £10,511.30 actual salary)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support our Vision Team and Deaf and Hearing Support Service at Griffins (part of London Borough of Bromley’s SEND Outreach Teams). The role is located where the Sensory Services and the Deaf Resources Services are based.
The main purpose of the post is to provide effective administration and front of house support delivering excellent service to staff, visitors, and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of operations under the guidance and instruction of senior staff. You would be joining a team of experienced and dedicated Teachers, Specialist Teaching Assistants and Support Staff.
The successful candidate would need to have proven administrative and customer care experience, excellent communication and team working skills and a solution focused attitude.
We would particularly welcome applicants with a knowledge and understanding of Special Educational Needs and a drive to make a difference to children and young people’s lives.
