Salary grade: BR13; 21 hours per week across the whole academic year, salary: £44,951 pro-rata.

Bromley Adult Education College (BAEC) is the Adult and Community Learning service for the London Borough of Bromley and provides courses for adults in a wide variety of subjects including English, maths, digital skills, ESOL, employability, and arts and crafts courses. We deliver at two main sites and various outreach centres across the borough.

We are excited to be advertising for the position for a Curriculum Development Manager (CDM) focused on delivering programmes at our two main campuses (Kentwood and Poverest) and across our various Outreach centres in the borough. You will work with partners coordinating the delivery of our programmes at various Outreach venues across the borough and have a particular focus on employability and digital courses for adults planning delivery via our new immersive technology suites.

This is a part-time role suitable for an experienced tutor or curriculum leader seeking to enhance and grow their management skills. As the CDM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and planning an engaging curriculum. Collaborating closely with tutors and the rest of the management team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences across your areas.

As a key figure, you will offer operational leadership and take charge of the curriculum area, providing support to both tutors and learners. Ideally, you'll bring expertise and experience in the covered subjects (Employability/Digital), coupled with a demonstrable passion for the other areas. You will thrive in a dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and where you are able to solve problems and offer solutions.

The post holder will work onsite across the two BAEC sites - Kentwood centre, Kingsdale Road, Penge, SE20 7PR and Poverest centre, Poverest Road, Orpington, BR5 2DQ and visits to various outreach centres as and when required
